Almira Furniture's legacy began as a family business in 1979, manufacturing and retailing superior quality, solid wood furniture. Our name, Almira, was inspired by the original location of our factory and showroom situated in the hamlet of Almira, just north of Unionville, in Markham, Ontario.
As a family brought up to appreciate quality and value, our focus has always been to provide our customers with an outstanding product, at a reasonable price.
Almira continues to supply quality, well-priced furniture and unique accessories for a variety of tastes and lifestyles. Our showroom is a fine example of the traditional values we are committed to meeting and exceeding in this decade and beyond. Each one of our exquisitely designed room settings incorporates collections from quality craftsmen here in Canada and abroad. These international selections must meet one criterion: to enhance and measure up to the exceptionally high standard of Canadian design and workmanship that Almira demands and our clientele expect. Seventy percent of our new sales each year are a result of personal referrals, thanks to our satisfied customers.
